Materials range from domestic (North American) and exotic (worldwide) woods, to custom created acrylics, even Corian hard surface materials.
Pens are twist type pens and use cross style refills, available at your local office supply store or mass retailer. Pencils are click style, and use 7mm lead, also available at local office supply stores or mass retailers.

Over 30 ultra thin strips of Frio River Valley Walnut went into the barrel of this pen. Each piece was carefully cut, and then all were laminated together to form the body. The colors vary greatly, which is only made more interesting by the fact that all strips came from the same tree. This pen has an upper barrel slightly longer than a standard slimline, making it easier to hold for larger hands. The gunmetal finish hardware helps to highlight the varying colors within the wood. Various species of Rosewood are found on nearly every continent. Although it may seem to be a common wood, it is in fact very rare in some instances (Brazilian Rosewood is under strict harvest control due to being nearly extinct, as it is highly prized for it's tonal quality in instrument construction).
