The Classic, or American Series Fountain and Ballpoint Pens are exactly as they are named, Classics, modeled after the 1920's Parker design. The ballpoint pens come in either a standard ballpoint, or a gel roller. The fountain pens feature a premium Iridium German fountain pen nib. The fountains use standards fountains disposable refills, or are available with an optional refillable reservoir. The caps on all screw onto both the cap end, as well as 'post' on the back. Available in either Satin Nickel, 24kt plated Gold, Black enamel, and Titanium Nitride. The Classic is an extraordinary choice for those seeking a distinguished, reliable writing instrument.
Classic Fountain - Zebrawood, Satin Nickel - $50
Zebrawood has a beautiful contrasting grain pattern of dark black and light brown. Lighter weight than most of the classic series, this fountain pen writes very comfortably, and strikes a confident image. This is a medium pen.
Classic Gel Roller - Leopardwood, 24kt Gold - $45
Leopardwood is so named for the Leopard like pattern the grain displays. Once turned, the 'leopard spots' almost resemble snake scales. This pen exhibits wonderful tricks under light, with a near holographic appearance. The 24kt gold and black hardware offset the leopardwood well. This is a medium pen.
Classic Fountain Pen - Laminated Corian, 24kt Gold - $60
Over a dozen pieces of Corian went into the construction of this pen. Starting with four blanks, they were glued, cut, rotated, reglued, recut and more to acheive the desired pattern. Curves, straight lines, and angles flow together in a elegant design. This pen will really stand out, but still remains understated enough to maintain a level of dignity. The postable cap makes usability high, while preserving the sophistication of a fountain pen. This is a medium pen.
Classic Gel Roller - Trustone Marble & Turquise, 24kt Gold - $50
Trustone is a composite material made from finely ground stone impregnated with resin resulting in an 85% stone material crafted to be indistinguishable from the original stone. This pen consists of two different Trustone materials laminated together for an even more striking effect. The stone adds weight to the already heavy mass of the Classic style pen, resulting in a very weighty pen, great for either a light, or heavy hand. This is a small/medium pen.
Classic Gel Roller - Black and White Ebony, 24kt Gold - $45
Shaped to stand out from the crowd, this classic gel roller writes as wonderfully as it looks. The black and white ebony, native to Africa, blend beautifully in with the 24kt Gold plated, black accented hardware. This is a medium/large pen.
Classic Gel Roller - Ash and Walnut Artwood, 24kt Gold - $50
The artwood pens stand out from the rest by their layed, inlaid appearances. This particular pen was crafted by cutting a blank of ash in the desired pattern, and then carefully inlaying a thin strip of walnut before reassembly. The results are the stark contrast and artistic curves that make for one of my personal favorites. The gel roller, as always, writes wonderfully and refills are available at local office supply as well as some mass retailers. This is a small/medium pen.
Classic Fountain Pen - American Holly, 24kt Gold - $50
Holly is highly prized for it's nearly perfect white appearance. This color combined with the warmth of real wood makes for an extremely elegant writing instrument. Sleek and to the point, this Classic Fountain is sure to fit the bill for those looking to be distinguished. This is a small/medium pen.
Classic Gel Roller - Copper and Zebrawood, Black Enamel - $65
Made by wrapping, brazing, and then turning real copper wire around a tube, this pen is definately a conversation piece. The copper is turned off, and replaced by a blank of zebrawood on the nib end in order to add a more earthy feel to the end. This is a very heavy pen, suitable only for someone who has a heavy hand. Light touches will not find this pen easy to write with, especially if the cap is posted. For those who have the right touch, the is no replacement for a pen like this one. This is a medium pen.
